My Top 7 Vegan Travel Planning Tips

As the world begins to reopen (hooray!!! ๐ŸŽ‰) after a big pause of over a year, due to the global pandemic, more people are packing their bags and traveling again! ๐Ÿงณ

So I wanted to share my top 7 tips for planning to travel as a vegan to help you along your journey โœˆ๏ธ

These tips are meant to offer suggestions to improve your experience so that when you land in your destination, you are ready and rearing to go, while still honoring your vegan philosophy and lifestyle! ๐ŸŒฑ

So here we go! ๐Ÿ’ƒ

1. Contact a vegan travel agent to create your trip with carefully curated content for your vegan needs ๐Ÿ‘ธ (you could google "vegan travel agent") ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ

2. If you organize your trip on your own, choose a vegan hotel or home stay ๐Ÿจ (you could google "vegan hotel" and "vegan airbnb") ๐Ÿก

3. Book a local vegan food tour (through Airbnb Experiences, for example) ๐Ÿจ

4. Sign up for local vegan events (through meetup.com for example) ๐Ÿ‘ฏโ€โ™€๏ธ

5. Reserve a vegan meal on your flight if they offer that option (through the airline's website or reservation center) ๐Ÿฑ

6. Join a Facebook group/community/page for vegans of the location youโ€™re visiting to ask for recommendations, make new friends, and organize meet ups before you arrive at your destination (such as โ€œLondon Vegansโ€ or โ€œVegans Los Angelesโ€) ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ•บ

7. Search hashtags on social media for your destination to find restaurants and people who are currently in your destination location to potentially arrange to meet up with them once you arrive at your destination (such as #veganparis #nycvegan) ๐Ÿฒ

In my next vegan travel tips blog, I'll share more tips that are specifically related to enhancing your trip once you are already at your destination! ๐Ÿ—ฝYay! Stay tuned! ๐Ÿ”Š

Meanwhile, you can join โ€œA Yummy Vegan Diet & Lifestyle Coaching Circle For Womenโ€™s Wellness From Head To Toeโ€. ๐Ÿ’ƒ

See you soon!

Bon appetit ๐Ÿ˜‹ & bon voyage! ๐Ÿ›ณ

Best wishes,

Angel ๐Ÿ˜
