Tips For Starting A Raw Vegan Food Diet

Ditch Perfection

There are times when it may appear that the raw vegan lifestyle is promoting “perfection” to only eat organic raw plant foods for every meal and every day.

I do not see the raw vegan lifestyle as a lifestyle of “perfection”.

Soon after I started my raw vegan journey, I learned that striving for “perfection” was not a good idea for many reasons, including:

  • Sometimes raw plant foods are not available.

  • Sometimes organic raw plant foods are not available.

  • Sometimes I want to enjoy a cooked vegan meal.

  • It is not realistic to do anything 100% of the time.

  • Life is not always a straight line.

  • It is absolutely acceptable to be perfectly imperfect.

  • The raw vegan lifestyle does not have to be “perfect” to be beneficial, beautiful and enjoyable.

Therefore, I invite you to “ditch perfection” and to embrace your beautiful and unique journey as it presents itself.

Yes, we want to feel our best and I am convinced that the raw vegan lifestyle is the optimal lifestyle to achieve this.

However, it is not always possible or feasible to adhere to the raw vegan principles 100% and that is totally normal.

Are you going to “ditch perfection” and enjoy your awesome raw vegan journey?
