Identifying Your Why(s)

Hi everyone,

I’m Angel, also known as A Yummy Vegan.

I’m super excited to share with you another extract from my new book “How To Go Vegan As Singles, Couples, Families & Friends: Easy Tips To Get You Started which is available on Amazon.

In my previous blog post I shared “What Is Veganism”. Today I’m sharing the various reasons why we choose to go vegan. This is a very crucial step on our vegan journey that will certainly propel us to stay on our journey, so let’s get started…

By identifying the why(s) or reason(s) you want to go vegan, you can have more focus and gain more clarity and determination when you face challenges on your journey.

It is helpful to keep your why(s) in focus in order to maintain your intention to live and thrive on this lifestyle, particularly when we are faced with choices that involve familiar foods and activities that we previously enjoyed on the standard diet and lifestyle.

There are various reasons why people decide to go vegan:

  • Health

    • Their personal health, the health of their loved ones and the health of those who work in the animal agriculture industry

  • Animals

    • The health and wellbeing of nonhuman sentient animals

  • Planet

    • The health of the planet and the environment
