How Do I Start Eating Raw Vegan?
Hi everyone,
I enjoy my raw vegan diet and lifestyle immensely and I have shared my journey with thousands of people worldwide. During my conversations with people who are curious about the raw vegan way of eating, several people have asked me about a raw vegan meal plan to help them to get started on their raw vegan journey.
I have been very happy to share the ingredients and the meals that I enjoy on my raw vegan lifestyle so I decided to create this quick starter guide for those who are either/or:
Beginning their raw vegan journey.
Already on their raw vegan journey and wish to consider new, simple meal combinations.
Curious about this lifestyle.
This guide is for you if you are interested in either/or:
Going slowly by adding one or two raw vegan meals per day.
Going quickly by switching completely to raw vegan for all of your meals.
My intention with this starter guide is not to provide the full spectrum of all of the possible meals that can be enjoyed on a raw vegan diet.
Instead, my goal is to keep it super simple. I have found that when I approach the raw vegan lifestyle from a “back to basics” perspective, this lifestyle is:

By consuming fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices as close to their natural form as possible, I have found that I enjoy all the highs:

In this guide I am sharing some simple ideas for meals in summer and winter so that you can have an idea of how to thrive on a raw vegan diet year-round. I am including various options for fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices so that you can explore plant foods that may not be very familiar to you, thereby expanding your palate.
Throughout the year it is super important to “eat the rainbow” or “eat your colors” so that you benefit from a wide variety of seasonal, colorful, fresh, organic fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices that will help you to thrive on your raw vegan journey.
It is awesome to embrace the wide variety of colors of fresh produce, so I invite you to include the following colors in your daily raw vegan meals:
Reds
Oranges
Yellows
Greens
Blues
Purples
Whites
Browns
By including a wide array of colorful plant foods, you will benefit from all the highs as mentioned above: hydration, energy, fiber, vibrations, nutrition.
Each color has its own unique flavor and nutritional profile that all result in a beautifully yummy symphony in your mouth, your body and your entire being.
The meals in this beginner’s 7-day raw vegan meal plan do not require any electronic equipment so that they are super simple to prepare.
If you wish to add a little more complexity to some of your meals, you may choose to prepare them using appliances such as:
Blenders
Juicers
Dehydrators
Graters
Spiralizers
